Senior Mental Health Clinician – Youth
12 month fixed term contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join a community-based youth mental health service.
This role involves working with young people and their families who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing assessment, case management, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete mental health assessments for young people.
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic support and interventions.
* Manage a caseload of clients and coordinate care plans.
* Work closely with families, schools, health professionals and community services.
* Participate in team meetings, case discussions and service development activities.
* Deliver education and mental health promotion activities within the community.
Essential Requirements
* Qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or Social Work.
* Relevant professional registration or membership.
* Experience working with children, adolescents or young adults experiencing mental health concerns.
* Strong assessment, case management and therapeutic skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Current driver's licence.
Desirable
* Experience working in community mental health services.
* Understanding of early intervention and youth mental health.
* Experience working within regional or rural settings.
