Job Description Pastry Cook / Baker – Melbourne, VIC Location: Melbourne, Victoria Job Type: Full-time (early morning shifts) Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Opportunity Our client is a highly regarded bakery in Melbourne, known for their handcrafted pastries, artisan breads, and commitment to using only the finest ingredients.
They are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook/Baker to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced baker or pastry cook who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment and wants to work with a business that values creativity, consistency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and bake a range of pastries, cakes, and/or artisan breads to a high standard Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all baked goods Follow recipes, portion controls, and food safety standards Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and kitchen cleanliness Collaborate with the head baker/pastry chef on new product development Maintain a clean and organised workspace in accordance with food safety regulation .
