UGL Industrials have an opportunity for a qualified and suitably experienced Mechanical Fitter for our Workshop located at Bennetts Green. This is a permanent role that will see you working on our clients Power Station assets across NSW. This position is Monday - Friday 38hours per week.
This position is a residential role with no living away from home provisions or facility for non-local employees. Local applicants from the Newcastle region are strongly encouraged to apply.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate – Mechanic
- Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Work Licence – LF highly regarded
- Nationally accredited Working at Heights certification valid within 3 years
- Nationally accredited Confined Space certification valid within 3 years
- Previous experience with pressure vessels and heat exchanges desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a small team
- High levels of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Great time management skills
