We have an opportunity for a Finance Transformation Analyst to join the team at our Sydney Head office on Castlereagh St. **This role is currently being recruited as a 12 month contract.**
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
In this role you will support the effective assessment, execution and analysis of multiple workstreams in the Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting project, which is a critical part of Stockland's Finance Transformation program.
This position focuses on collaborating with key stakeholders from across the business, across finance and technology, to design and implement a Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting cycle which better supports the execution of our strategy and enhances operational efficiency.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Support the team running the Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting project, ensuring workstream goals, timelines, and success criteria are met and align with the overall project
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and SMEs across business divisions (Development and Investment Management), Finance and other support functions (e.g. technology teams) to analyse the As-Is cycle, design, implement and embed the To-Be cycle
- Partner closely with the Program Leads and other workstream leads to manage project scope, resources, risks, and timelines, ensuring proactive issue resolution and effective change management
- Provide analytical support and market insights to enhance internal team project development
- Organise cross-functional sessions to boost creativity and assist in problem solving
- Ensure project plans are resourced effectively and achieve strategic objectives
- Set and track performance metrics to evaluate project success and impact
**About You**
You are a proactive and energetic analyst with experience on transformation or major projects with strong business process analysis, problem-solving and communication skills. If you're action-oriented and collaborative, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of projects. In summary you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Experience in a transformation or major projects (Finance experience highly regarded but not necessary), with a focus on transformation, business improvement, innovation change management, or organisational development.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of innovation methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as design thinking or agile methodologies would be beneficial
- Degree qualified in a related field, such as Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Change, or Marketing will be viewed favourably.
- Certifications in Change Management or related fields can be beneficial.
- Collaborative, action-oriented style
