Our client in Australia Wide seeks the services of Cloud Administrator with NV1 clearance
Key Responsibilities
* Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to AWS cloud infrastructure, promptly resolving any identified issues.
* Monitor the performance of cloud systems, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks or issues.
* Contribute to discussions requiring expert advice on cloud infrastructure and related technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, planning, and implementation of new cloud-based systems.
* Maintain and administer Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security and optimising performance in a cloud environment.
* Configure and provide advice on Cloudflare configuration to optimize performance and enhance security.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
Selection Criteria
Essential criteria
1. Demonstrated experience in AWS Cloud Administration with expertise in: • The following AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, CloudFormation, SQS & SNS • Collaborating with Solutions and Security Architects offering input using best practice design principles
2. Demonstrated experience in Linux Administration with proven experience in: • System configuration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation • Automation experience using tools such as Ansible • Implementing security hardening following guidance from Security Architects, the ASD’s ACSC ISM and industry best practices
3. Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following: • Utilising Cloudflare’s security services to secure web applications and caching features to optimise website performance • Integrating Salesforce with AWS environments and Amazon Connect • Managing either a Splunk or Elastic cluster in a production environment
Desirable criteria
1. Expertise in administrating and securing Exchange in a M365 environment.
2. Experience utilising system monitoring tools to analyse performance, proactive analysis and optimise system infrastructure.
3. Experience working in an agile software development project environment.
Australian Citizens
Length of Contract: 12 months with possible extension upto 2*12 months
