Introduction
We are seeking to increase our team of health professionals who perform Ongoing Support Assessments (OSAs) and Supported Wage System (SWS) Assessments for the National Panel of Assessors in the Geelong area.
The opportunity
These Contracting roles are as work demands and well suited to work in with your business, other part time work or an addition to your current contracting services.
Training and accreditation in the assessment tools will be provided. An induction, ongoing professional development and support will also be provided.
About you
* Diploma or higher-level qualification in one of the following - rehabilitation counsellor, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, nurse, medical practitioner, psychologist/psychiatrist, orthoptics/optometry, audiology, exercise physiologist, vocational training or other diploma or higher-level qualification which is relevant to providing the required Assessments
* Minimum 2 years' practical experience in disability employment or related sectors
* Strong assessment skills
* Strong report writing skills
* Sound computer skills
* Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines
* Good interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to take direction
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders including clients, disability employment providers and employers
The Program
OSAs are used to determine the appropriate level of support that a participant (employee living with disability), needs to maintain their employment. The purpose for an SWS Assessment is to assess an employee's productivity to determine a fair wage.
