About the role
We are seeking a talented Pizza Maker and Front of House (FOH) all-rounder to join our team at Johns pizza bar and restaurant in Coober Pedy, SA. This full-time position will see you assisting in all aspects of our busy restaurant operations, from crafting delicious pizzas to providing excellent customer service.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas to our high standards
2. Greeting and seating customers, taking food and drink orders
3. Providing friendly and efficient table service
4. Ensuring the restaurant and kitchen areas are kept clean and organised
5. Assisting with stock control and food preparation as required
6. Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless dining experience
7. Carrying out closing procedures
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a pizza maker and/or in a similar front-of-house hospitality role
2. A passion for food, customer service and creating a great dining experience
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
6. A current food handling/safety certificate or willingness to obtain one
7. A current RSA certificate or willingness to obtain one
