Your new role
With an established production site operating in the south of the state, Polyfoam Westbury will be commencing operations in June and they are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. Reporting to the Factory Manager, in this role you'll be responsible for:
o Scheduling of work priorities for production staff
o Compliance of workplace health and safety for the factory staff
o Maintaining workloads to ensure production targets are met
o Identifying areas of process and efficiency improvements
o Providing updates on raw materials and ensuring required stock levels.
What you'll need to succeed
A results-driven individual with experience in the manufacturing industry, you have a mechanical and technical aptitude, excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. With excellent communication skills, you are confident in leading a team and providing training and advice. You are focused on meeting production deadlines, as well as meeting quality standards. Ideally, you have experience with EPS and plastic manufacturing operations and hold a current forklift licence.
