Overview
End Point Technology Team Lead role at Thales, Rydalmere, New South Wales, Australia. This position leads transformation, continuous improvement and advanced 3rd level support and system administration within the Corporate IT department, designing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and ensuring security compliance. Working from the Rydalmere office on Dharug land.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-point technology transformations and solutions with a customer-focused approach.
- Highly skilled in complex Windows 10/11 setup, environment and support across thousands of hardware devices.
- In-depth Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM/Intune packaging, and Azure tools.
- Experience with cybersecurity governance such as Essential 8 or ISM.
- Experience with patching governance and managing group policy.
- Robust scripting knowledge and the ability to automate various tasks.
- Problem solving and efficient resolution of technical issues.
- Ability to manage projects, stay organized, and communicate clearly.
- Lead the creation of a stable and high performing Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and establish an escalation path for Service Desk and End User Support.
Your Experience
- Understanding of DevOps and lean ways of working to keep systems running smoothly.
- Mentoring and supporting teammates.
- IT qualifications; ITIL or Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.
- Comfortable working across different systems and platforms.
- Monitoring DEM tools such as Riverbed Aternity or Nexthink; MacOS experience is highly desirable.
