2XU is searching for a Creative Art Director on a parental leave contract (10 months) to lead the charge on how the world sees, feels, and connects with 2XU.
In this pivotal role, you'll set the creative direction of our global brand, ensuring visual consistency and standout storytelling across every channel and market.
From high-impact campaigns to daily digital assets, you'll lead with vision, originality, and strategic discipline.
How you will make a difference:
Lead Global Creative Direction & Visual Identity: You'll be the guardian of 2XU's global visual identity, setting the creative tone and ensuring brand consistency across every platform and market.
From hero campaigns to daily assets, your direction will drive how 2XU shows up visually, building a cohesive, high-performance brand experience.Develop Campaign Concepts & Content Strategies: Translate brand strategy into compelling, globally resonant creative platforms.
You'll lead campaign ideation, shape storytelling hierarchies, and build visual toolkits that elevate our message, whether launching a new range or driving seasonal performance marketing.Oversee Multi-Channel Content Execution: From casting and styling to post-production, you'll oversee the creation of content across photo, video, and digital formats.
You'll ensure each piece is optimised for its channel!Manage & Mentor the In-House Creative Team: Lead, support, and inspire a small but mighty team of Graphic Designers.
You'll provide clear direction, creative feedback, and growth opportunities, while fostering a culture of innovation, precision, and brand integrity.Collaborate Cross-Functionally Across the Business: Work closely with brand, product, digital, and retail teams to align creative output with business objectives.
You'll help prioritise briefs, manage timelines, and ensure creative solutions are strategic, functional, and on-brand.Maintain Brand Relevance Through Market Awareness: Stay plugged into the performance, sport, and retail landscapes to keep 2XU ahead of the curve.
You'll ensure our creative remains aspirational, performance-led, and in tune with both cultural and consumer trends—ensuring we always show up with relevance and impact.What you'll bring:
10+ years in creative roles - art direction, design, or brand-led storytelling (sport or performance brands a plus)A killer portfolio with campaign, ecommerce, and content workMastery of Adobe Creative Suite and a strong understanding of digital formatsA proven track record leading creative teams and pushing the boundaries of brand expressionConfidence in the room - whether briefing photographers, aligning with brand stakeholders, or mentoring junior designersThis isn't just a contract, it's a chance to shape the creative legacy of a global performance brand.
