We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Driller's Offsider to fill a key position within our organization.
Job Description
This role involves assisting drilling supervisors with medium to heavy lifting tasks, thorough cleaning and maintenance of tooling, and providing general support while engaging various drilling methods for environmental and geotechnical investigation projects.
Responsibilities
* Assist drilling supervisors with medium to heavy lifting tasks.
* Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of tooling.
* Provide general support during drilling operations.
You will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects based in Sydney and across regional NSW and ACT. A degree of expense-paid mid-week travel will be involved periodically.
Certifications and Requirements
* New South Wales Occupational Health and Safety General Induction Training for Construction Work (White Card or equivalent).
* Own transport is essential, with vehicles supplied from depot to site.
* A MR License is an advantage, but not necessary.
* Current or previous experience driving a manual transmission vehicle is a must.
Engagement will be conditional upon passing a company induction, including medical and drug and alcohol testing.
The expected hours of work are no less than 38 per week.
