Position Overview
The Grants Officer will provide high-quality administrative support for the delivery of Australia Awards Fellowships, ensuring effective management of grants and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administer grants in accordance with relevant policies and guidelines.
2. Manage the Fellowship lifecycle, including enquiries, application processing, and stakeholder communication.
3. Coordinate AHO selection processes, including eligibility assessments and shortlisting.
4. Oversee grants administration tasks such as agreement generation, amendments, and disbursements.
5. Support development of policies, standards, and templates for Fellowship delivery.
6. Build and maintain relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders.
7. Manage Fellowship rounds via SmartyGrants, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
8. Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in international program administration, preferably with DFAT or similar agencies.
* Proficiency with program management systems; SmartyGrants experience is desirable.
* Strong client service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
