Atherton Hospital is a 56-bed, Level 3 facility with a strong commitment to Rural Generalist training.
We provide care to residents of Atherton but also as far west as Georgetown, Forsayth and Croydon.
There is capacity within the hospital for SMOs to develop special interests such as minor surgery, paediatrics, anaesthetics and obstetrics and education and training.

You will assist the Director of Medical Services, Atherton Hospital in the development of safe medical practice and optimising clinical skills for medical and nursing staff.
