* Reports to a Senior Mining Geologist.
* Liaises with geotechnical and geological teams for underground mine design, level plans, and scheduling.
This role oversees all short-to-medium term mining operations strategy factoring in financial considerations and cutting-edge mining technologies. It is accountable for optimizing excavation efficiency, maintaining site safety standards and monitoring the environmental impact of the project. A strong analytical mind will be essential to create detailed strategic reports highlighting emerging trends opportunities or risks associated with existing projects.
A key performance indicator will be effective collaboration with colleagues across departments including but not limited to: surveyors, drillers, engineers; ensuring seamless day-today execution while aligning overall organizational objectives.
