About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Centre Director or Director in Training to lead our Brighton Centre. This is more than a management role, it is an opportunity to build a centre, shape culture, mentor educators, and be a visible, trusted presence for children and families.
The Brighton centre embraces its coastal location, strong community connections, and beautiful indoor and outdoor learning spaces. You will have the opportunity to build, elevate, and strengthen the centre, supported by Emali's leadership team and systems.
You will also be part of Emali's Flying Start Program, which provides structured onboarding, leadership support, and ongoing professional development.
About You
You are a people‐first leader who leads with heart, confidence, and clarity. You are hands‐on, present on the floor, and deeply connected to your team and families.
You will bring:
* Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education & Care (ACECQA approved)
* Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and the Assessment & Rating process
* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confidence with technology and systems (Microsoft Office and Xplor)
* A genuine passion for high‐quality education, care, and leadership
* Most importantly, you are a warm, engaging, and inspiring leader who brings out the best in others for the ultimate benefit of children and families.
