Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to provide community nursing and deliver school health services in accordance with school level agreements.
* Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the Department of Education and other multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality community nursing and school health services, promoting healthy behaviors and preventing illnesses among students.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to identify needs and develop targeted interventions.
* Conduct thorough assessments, plan and implement evidence-based interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness.
Requirements
* Eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Recent postgraduate nursing experience with advanced knowledge and skills.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations.
* Understanding of primary health care principles and application to community health service delivery.
* C-class driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as required.
