Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Storeperson to manage the inventory, storage, and distribution of parts at Gold Coast BMW. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our service department by ensuring the efficient handling of parts, supplies, and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the automotive industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Receive and inspect parts and accessories deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality. Organise and maintain the parts inventory, ensuring all items are stored correctly and easily accessible. Assist in stock control, including regular stocktakes and inventory audits. Fulfill parts orders for technicians and customers in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure the proper documentation and record-keeping of all stock transactions. Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate parts availability. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised parts storage area. Handle returns and warranties in accordance with company procedures. Assist with managing parts orders and restocking as needed. Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in an automotive parts environment or warehouse setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components is preferred. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage stock levels, inventory, and maintain accurate records. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment. A valid driver’s license is essential.
