About you and this position We are seeking applicants to fill an Independent Committee Member position on our Council Assessment Panel, a Committee established under Section 41 of the Local Government Act 1999. The appointment is until 30 November 2027 and a sitting fee of $400 per meeting is paid for all meetings attended. Council invites applications from individuals with skills and experience in Planning assessment, policy development or other relevant development related activity such as architecture, traffic engineering surveying etc. Candidates should have a solid understanding of the development assessment process and be familiar with the Planning Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. Candidates should have, or be eligible for, Level 2 Accreditation in the State Government Accredited Professionals Scheme.
