Lead pole installation & distribution line teams on major energy projects. FIFO, long-term role with 18-24 months of ongoing work.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Poles Supervisor to lead construction teams delivering major energy transition projects. This is a key leadership role overseeing pole installation and associated distribution line works across large-scale infrastructure including substations, distribution networks, transmission lines, EPS upgrades, solar farms, and decarbonisation programs. These are full-time FIFO positions offering long-term opportunities, with successful candidates securing 18 to 24 months of ongoing project work.
Roster & Location
- 2:1 roster in WA
- 12‑hour shifts
- FIFO from all capital cities considered
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the safe installation, replacement, and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment
- Manage crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards
- Conduct pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and enforce safety compliance at all times
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and client representatives to coordinate works
- Monitor progress against schedules and provide daily reporting to site management
- Mentor and support team members to maintain high performance and solid safety culture
Qualifications & Experience
- S26 (Mandatory)
- WA Electrical licence
- OHS Construction Card (White Card)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Work Licence
- Proven supervisory experience
- Previous FIFO experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Two contactable work‑related references
