Join our Sales Analytics team, a dedicated team of professionals utilising data and AI to support our sales team, business heads and senior leadership to execute on the Commodities and Global Markets business' client strategy.

What role will you play?
As a Data Analyst, you will work as part of a team delivering lifecycle analytical solutions, from gathering requirements with cross-functional teams to implementing best-practice data modelling and design principles. Furthermore, you will utilise your advanced analytics capabilities, to generate actionable client insights and drive productivity through automation. You will partner with the Group Data Office, Data Architects, and Data Domain Owners to shape data strategy, ensuring data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance.

What You Offer

* 2-4 years' experience as a data analyst, ideally within Capital Markets or Investment Banking or broader financial services industry.
* Skilled in sourcing and loading data from diverse platforms: relational databases, flat files, APIs, cloud storage (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
* Hands-on with data transformation and aggregation using both low-code tools (e.g. Alteryx, Dataiku, Azure Data Factory) and programming languages (e.g. T-SQL, PL/SQL, Python).
* Practical experience building Power BI projects, including data preparation in Power Query, DAX calculations, security setup, performance optimization, and visualization design.
* Proficient at documenting work via SharePoint, Confluence, or similar content management systems, and familiar with code repositories and basic version control (GitHub, Bitbucket).
* Experienced with machine-learning predictive models and Generative AI tools preferable.
* Proven project and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to build relationships, manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines.
* Understanding of end-to-end delivery of data products and applications, including group policies and procedures for data collection and analysis.
