Due to a secure, rapidly expanding pipeline of work, they are looking to welcome two commercial professionals to their high-performing Sydney team. The Roles Available We are actively recruiting for two distinct positions within the commercial division: Contract Administrator (CA): Ideal for an ambitious professional with 3–5 years of experience ready to take full ownership of their own packages and drive profitability. Senior Contract Administrator (SCA): Designed for a seasoned commercial expert with 6 years of experience capable of driving financial strategy, managing risk, and mentoring emerging talent. Key Responsibilities Procurement: Scope, negotiate, and let sub-contract packages efficiently to maximize project margins. Financial Management: Prepare accurate monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and progress claims. Variations & Claims: Assess, negotiate, and resolve sub-contractor variations and EOTs commercially and fairly. Relationship Management: Build strong, collaborative relationships with sub-contractors, clients, and internal Project Managers. Leadership (Senior CA role): Provide commercial leadership on-site, oversee junior CAs/cadets, and handle high-value contractual negotiations. Skills & Experience Required A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline. Proven track record working with an Australian principal contractor (commercial build or high-end fit-out experience is highly regarded). Strong understanding of standard construction contracts (e.g., AS4000, AS2124). Exceptional communication, negotiation, and commercial software skills.
