As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
* The preparation of financial statements, taxation returns and tax plans for a wide range of individual and business clients
* The preparation of additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax, WorkCover and QBCC matters.
* The creation and implementation of business cash flow, forecasting and other various value-add reporting material
* The preparation of BAS, FBT, TPAR and other ATO lodgements as required
* Corresponding with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients
* Providing support and assistance to the management team

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following attributes:
* Completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) or studying towards
* Currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualifications
* 3+ years of business services and taxation experience
* Sound knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles and procedures
* High quality organisational and time management skills
* Strong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
