About the Role
We’re seeking a Grower / Agronomist to help drive orchard health, productivity, and sustainability across our macadamia farms. This predominantly field-based role provides strategic agronomic support, focusing on irrigation, pest and disease management, pruning, and orchard optimisation.
You’ll work independently from daily operations, offering expert advice, training, and technical support to farm teams, helping us deliver world-class macadamia crops season after season.
Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
* Provide expert agronomic advice to improve orchard health, yield, and sustainability.
* Support farm teams with irrigation, pest and disease management, and pruning strategies.
* Train and mentor staff in best-practice orchard care and sustainable farming techniques.
* Assist in developing orchard management plans and overseeing procurement of agronomic resources.
* Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on orchard performance using digital tools.
What We’re Looking For
* Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Current Class C Driver’s Licence (unrestricted).
* 2–3 years’ experience in orchard or farm management (macadamias or similar tree crops preferred).
* Strong knowledge of irrigation, pest/disease management, and sustainable practices.
* Excellent communication and training skills.
* Proficiency in digital record-keeping and reporting.
* Energetic, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
