Water Activities Coordinator Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Water Activities Coordinator to join our team at Hamilton Island. As a key member of our beach sports team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our water-based activities.
About the Role:
* Provide instruction and assistance to guests with the use of all beach sports equipment, including hobycats, SUPs, kayaks, catamarans, and snorkels.
* Ensure all supplies are maintained and are in a safe and operable working order.
* Carry out general repairs and maintenance on all equipment.
* Respond to all guest enquiries and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
* Perform administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* You have a valid driver's license.
* You hold an Exemption 38 or Coxswain ticket.
* You have, or are willing to obtain, a First Aid Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation, and QLD RSA.
* You enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable in rain, hail, or shine.
* You are confident in and around the water, with experience sailing, surf lifesaving, and snorkelling.
* You possess excellent communication skills and patience when working with team members.
Requirements:
* You are available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
* You are physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
