We are seeking a dedicated Heritage Ranger to oversee the protection, restoration, and enhancement of historic sites, monuments, landscapes, and cultural features.
This position involves regular site inspections to identify deterioration, damage, or risk and coordinating repairs or maintenance. You will develop and implement management plans for site protection, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
You will work closely with stakeholders, including local communities, Indigenous groups, government heritage authorities, and volunteer groups, to promote heritage values and ensure the long-term sustainability of these sites.
Key responsibilities include:
