Job Summary
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – Field Services WA
REMA TIP TOP is currently looking for hardworking, experienced Conveyor Maintenance Supervisors to join our Field Services team.
Responsibilities
* The health, safety and well‑being of all operational personnel within the area of authority.
* Driving continuous improvement in safety and the provision of quality maintenance services whilst supporting the Site Manager.
* Identifying and resolving potential safety issues.
* Planning and executing works to ensure they are completed within the scheduled time frame and taking corrective action should significant deviations occur.
* Leading, coaching and mentoring team members to deliver on plan and build a high‑performing team.
* Working to achieve productivity, annual revenue and profitability targets.
* Supervising service employees, support departments and subcontractors to ensure their duties are carried out in accordance with the Business and customer objectives.
* Reporting issues relating to the delivery of scope of works to the relevant Area Manager.
* Building and maintaining positive client relationships throughout the contractual life cycle via appropriate methods such as email, telephone and face‑to‑face interactions.
Qualifications
* Relevant mechanical and/or belt splicing background and extensive experience in all facets of conveyor maintenance.
* Strong commitment to building solid and honest relationships with staff and clients alike.
* A proven track record in supervision, with a strong emphasis on effective people performance management.
* Ability to make and plan strategic decisions that support the interests of the Company.
* A total commitment to maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards and systems.
* Excellent communication skills coupled with an enthusiastic outgoing personality as you are hosted at the client site and participate in the full operations of the site.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage paperwork and reporting requirements to meet client and Company deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general comfort with technology.
* Customer service approach towards interacting with colleagues and clients.
* Understanding of Mining in WA and Customer Requirements.
* Highly organised and able to work under pressure, with a broad range of skills to provide flexible support.
* English fluency.
* Proficiency in SAP: Notification creation, Work order creation, Stock ordering, and time confirmations.
* 5+ years of experience in the mining and associated industry (desirable).
* Accredited Certification in Supervision/frontline Management (desirable).
