This role reports to the Security Governance and Assurance Manager and involves delivering a range of objectives related to emergency management, crisis planning, and business continuity in compliance with Defence and Government standards and expectations.

Responsibilities:
">
">
* Lead operational level responses and support the BDA response to diverse disruption events and critical incidents, including natural disasters, technology failures, and physical safety/security events.
">
* Ensure the currency and maturity of all BDA Local Emergency Response Plans.
">
* Coordinate emergency drills as per legislative requirements for BDA locations.
">
* Develop and deliver emergency evacuation and warden training exercises, including coordination of exercises where responsibility falls with Managing Agents or activity is within Government Furnish Facilities.
">
* Develop and implement business continuity planning initiatives, documentation, and education to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer expectations consistent with Government expectations and Boeing Enterprise best practice.

* Collaborate and engage with internal and external clients to evangelize and represent Enterprise and Security & Fire Protection resilience initiatives in a manner meeting BDA and customer expectations, as well as all statutory requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:
">
">
* Demonstrable understanding of contemporary business resilience initiatives, with a good working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and ISO as they relate to emergency management, crisis planning, and business continuity.

* Experience in managing disparate and remote teams, including enabling staff to deliver a trusted and industry-leading business resilience service to both internal and external clients.
">
* Ability to make and/or change plans, goals, and actions in response to an evolving business environment, with awareness to operate as a focal point for security across the business.
">
* Ability to be on call as required by business needs and to travel periodically as planned or unplanned, often with little advance notice, within or outside assigned regions.
">
