An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Accountant to join a highly regarded organisation within the energy and infrastructure sector. This is a full-time, permanent role offering genuine breadth across both Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, ideal for someone looking to deepen their commercial exposure and take the next step in their career. Working as part of a high-performing and genuinely supportive finance team, you'll report to an exceptional Financial Controller.
Description
Financial Accounting
* Month-end close including journals, accruals and prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations and integrity reviews
* Cash management and oversight of accounts receivable
* Supporting group and statutory reporting requirements
* Operating within a highly automatedERP environment
Management Accounting
* Budgeting and forecasting for the group
* Preparation and review of monthly P&Ls
* Variance analysis with clear, value-adding commentary
* Business partnering with corporate and operational stakeholders
* Identifying risks, opportunities and process improvement initiatives
Profile
* 5-6 years' experience in accounting or finance
* Background in audit or business services (Big 4 or mid-tier highly regarded)
* CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards
* Strong attention to detail with confident written and verbal communication
* Experience working with ERP systems
* Ability to manage competing deadlines and build effective stakeholder relationships
* Exposure to both FA and MA, or a strong willingness to develop across both
