Small, not-for-profit child care service located in Miranda, NSW. Close to public transport and shopping centres.
Position: Part-time, Wednesday, 3 to 6 hours per week. Onsite position in Miranda.
Responsibilities:
1. Confirming staff hours and processing payroll every fortnight.
2. Managing accounts payable and receivable.
3. Monthly reconciliation of all accounts, including superannuation, PAYG, and GST.
4. Submitting and paying superannuation, PAYG, and GST monthly.
5. Completing monthly financial reports and other required financial documentation. Monitoring budgets.
6. Collaborating on and preparing an annual budget with staff and management.
7. Submitting all financial records for annual audit.
8. Following up on aged debtors.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency with MYOB software.
* Working with Children's Check (Paid).
* Understanding of workplace awards: Children's Services Award, Teachers Award, and Clerks Award.
* Experience with Xplor Child Care software.
