Their Sydney office is now looking for a Associate / Senior Associate level lawyer to work in their Insurance team.
About the role We are actively seeking an Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in Insurance law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with clients, managing relationships and delivering tailored legal adviceReceive guidance and mentorship from leading experts in the insurance law fieldDevelop expertise in insurance advisory work, including regulatory and compliance mattersProvide support on complex coverage analysis, including liability assessments and issues relating to non-disclosure or misrepresentationAssist insurers with the resolution of claims disputes, investigations, and complaints
About you You will have 4+ years PAE with experience in insurance law with a ‘can do’ approach and a team player attitude. Additionally, you will have: Strong analytical skills to interpret expert reports, contracts, legislation, and regulatory materialsAbility to draft clear, concise written communications and explain complex legal concepts in plain, accessible languageEffective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and other stakeholdersGenuine interest in building a career and expanding professional networks within the general insurance sector
