Chemical Engineering Vacation Program
We are seeking motivated Chemical Engineering students who are looking for an exciting opportunity to expand their education with vacation employment over the holiday break. The students we are seeking will share the same values as; Accountability, Collaboration, Ambition and Curiosity.
* The program will run from approximately December 2025 to February 2026 (aligned to your university break). You will work closely and be supported by your assigned mentor (a Process Engineer) and an allocated buddy (a graduate or employee) for the duration of the program.
* You will have the opportunity to work on two projects over the course of 12 weeks. You will develop and deliver a presentation on one of your completed projects to our Leadership team.
* We will provide you with a vacation student progress review by your mentor during the program.
* This program will help you develop your technical and professional skills through hands-on experience as an engineer working for us.

About Our Business
We are part of a global network, collaborating to profitably and responsibly solve some of the world's key challenges - resource scarcity, food insecurity and environmental change. Our Pilbara Fertilisers' plant is one of the largest ammonia production sites in the world and we also produce technical ammonium nitrate.
We reside in Karratha, Western Australia, a key community in the region with a resource focus and a relaxed, friendly lifestyle. All Karratha-based roles offered are on a residential basis. Vehicle relocation and furnished accommodation will be provided as part of the position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
All candidates must submit a cover letter and resume as part of the application. Applicants must be currently studying a Master's or Honours of Professional Engineering specialising in Chemical Engineering. Applications will be accepted only from students attending a Western Australian University. Only applicants with permanent work rights in Australia will be eligible to apply.
Candidates must demonstrate sound teamwork, communication skills and a commitment to quality. They must be able to relocate to Karratha for the full 12-week duration of the program. This includes relocating their vehicle and living in fully-furnished accommodation.
