Supervision: Recognising the significance of guidance and support, we ensure that our clinicians benefit from regular supervision sessions. These are conducted either weekly or fortnightly through face-to-face interactions (in person or Telehealth), fostering a robust foundation for professional growth.
Your Role at Advantage Therapy:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide a mix of clinic-based, mobile, and Telehealth services to a sustainable caseload of children and adolescence with disability/developmental delay. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and families to support your clients to achieve functional goals and develop holistically.
What We are Looking for:
* A paediatric OT with minimum 1 year of experience. Experience in working with children with a disability, behaviours of concern, and/or complex needs highly preferred.
* Solid foundation on NDIS and report writing.
* Strong alignment to positive, collaborative, outcome-oriented team culture, with the ability to adapt to changes.
* Supports family-centred, evidence-based practice, and the value of multi-/trans-disciplinary approach and functional goal setting
* Effective communication and negotiation skills, including ability to navigate difficult conversations
* Interested in progression pathways and investing in the team long term
Mandatory Qualifications:
* Accredited Qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Full AHPRA Registration
* Working with Children Check
* The right to work in Australia
* Valid driver's licence and access to an insured vehicle
