An exciting opportunity for a sports communications specialist to collaborate with key brands across Kayo Sports, Fox Sports, and Foxtel. You will shape brand narratives and engage millions of sports fans through compelling storytelling and media strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Drive earned media and social engagement with compelling, timely, and relevant storytelling
Leverage your strong network of media, publishers, and content creators for communication and media relations
Apply creative and solutions-focused thinking to innovate and achieve results in a dynamic industry
Utilize data to shape PR strategies and deliver high-impact, results-focused communications
Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with business and brand objectives
Lead end-to-end PR and communications campaigns, collaborating with marketing, creative, and digital teams
Manage internal and external stakeholders to foster alignment, collaboration, and partnerships
Work closely with top-tier talent, agents, and managers to extract value and maximize opportunities, ensuring both established and emerging talent contribute to enhancing brand narrative
About your experience
4-8 years in journalism, communications, PR, or media relations, with high-profile campaign and brand management experience
Expertise and passion for sports media, storytelling, and content creation across platforms
Strong project management skills, from ideation to execution, with effective stakeholder engagement
Highly organized, accountable, and creative, thriving in fast-paced environments
Experience in publicity, talent management, and handling high-profile events
A versatile skillset, adaptable across various brands and content pillars
Strategic thinking to align communications with broader business objectives
Collaborative leadership, fostering strong relationships at all levels
A natural inquisitiveness, constantly seeking new insights and innovative solutions
A results-driven approach, focused on influencing audiences and elevating brand visibility
