An opportunity has presented itself for an Infrastructure Security Specialist to join our team in North Sydney.
What You'll Do
* Play a key role in strengthening our security posture by proactively identifying, analysing and responding to infrastructure security threats across a complex enterprise environment.
* Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities across our infrastructure.
* Conduct proactive threat hunting and forensic analysis using tools such as Microsoft Defender and EDR platforms.
* Implement and maintain secure configurations across Active Directory, Windows Server and cloud environments.
* Administer and enhance security tooling including Microsoft Defender stack, SIEM and endpoint detection solutions.
* Collaborate closely with infrastructure and network teams to embed security into system design and operations.
* Develop reporting and insights on security posture, incidents and remediation activities (including Power BI dashboards).
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in infrastructure or security engineering within a Microsoft‐centric environment.
* Strong hands‐on capability across incident response, threat detection and forensic analysis.
* Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Defender, EDR platforms, Active Directory, SCCM, Intune and Azure.
* Ability to think critically, assess complex problems and deliver effective, end‐to‐end solutions.
* Strong understanding of access management, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously in a fast‐paced environment.
