- 10+years leadership/management experience of Financial Services Regulatory Reporting team/s
- Leading transformation programs while simultaneously delivering business as usual activities
- Strong experience in delivering change and uplift utilising technology
- Demonstrated ability to build flexibility, capability and capacity into a sustainable Regulatory Reporting function
- Professional accounting qualifications (CPA or CA) are preferred
- Ability to lead teams under pressure and manage change, ambiguity and adversity
- Negotiate, influence and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including c-suite and develop and sustain productive working relationships
- Practical and hands-on approach
- Sound judgement to assess priorities, risks and issues and make reasonable decisions
As Head of Regulatory Reporting, you'll support the Financial Controller and lead a mid-sized team. You'll be accountable for a range of Regulatory Reporting responsibilities including:
- Oversight of resourcing, processes, review, and future forecasting needs of the regulatory reporting function
- Provide leadership and drive adherence to APRA Reporting Policy and related standards
- Provide thought leadership for Regulatory Reporting across BEN
- Influence design of relevant internal programs across BEN and advocate for Regulatory Reporting
- Represent BEN externally, and negotiate / influence with stakeholders including APRA, ABA, Peers and others
- Manage Escalations of Non-Compliance, Risks, Issues, Audit Findings, Operational Risk Events to Group Financial Controller/Chief Financial Officer
- Establishing a culture of continuous improvement
