We are seeking a Service Co‑Ordinator responsible for servicing and deploying POS systems and related hardware to clients or retail sites.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Configuration (POS)
Repair POS terminals, peripherals, Cash Registers, Cash Drawers, Kiosks (printers, scanners, MSR's devices), and networking hardware according to client specifications and internal standards.
Deployment & Logistics:
Coordinate equipment dispatch, tracking, and delivery to client sites.
Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tagging.
Support installation schedules and liaise with field technicians or installers.
Quality Control:
Conduct pre‑deployment testing to ensure system functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
Document configurations and maintain provisioning checklists.
Client & Internal Support:
Work closely with account managers, support teams, and technical staff to meet deployment timelines.
Provide remote setup or activation assistance to clients where required.
Escalate technical issues promptly to the relevant support tier.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with POS systems and hardware
* Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPNs)
* Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple provisioning tasks and priorities
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
* Experience in retail technology or payment systems
* Familiarity with remote management tools or imaging software
* Technical certification or relevant IT qualification
