Preserving History through Engagement
The Bassett Boys' Schoolroom offers a unique learning experience for primary students up to year 3 with interactive activities supporting teaching and learning in history, civics, and citizenship.
Students explore the history of the buildings and local area, experiencing lifestyles from the late 1800s. Hands-on activities are integrated throughout the program.
Our volunteers contribute to education and training, music and entertainment, tour guides, and information and heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support educational programs for primary students
* Assist with hands-on activities and workshops
* Contribute to tour guiding and information provision
