About the role
Reporting to the Head of E‑Commerce & Systems, the E‑Commerce Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and accurate operation of our online sales environment. This includes overseeing product listings, fulfilment workflows, customer service performance, stock accuracy, and campaign execution.
This role is central to coordinating end‑to‑end e‑commerce activity, maintaining high operational standards, and ensuring that customers receive an exceptional online experience. You will lead a small team, streamline processes, manage daily priorities, and ensure that all digital operations run reliably and on time.

Key responsibilities
* Oversee daily e‑commerce operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
* Lead, support, and mentor a small team including e‑commerce coordinators, fulfilment staff, and customer service.
* Manage product listings, promotions, pricing updates, and online merchandising tasks.
* Ensure stock accuracy through coordination with warehouse and logistics teams.
* Oversee fulfilment performance, dispatch times, and order quality.
* Maintain and execute a promotional campaign calendar, ensuring launches are error‑free.
* Monitor customer service workflows to ensure timely, professional responses and issue resolution.
* Develop and maintain SOPs across fulfilment, listings, customer service, and campaign execution.
* Provide weekly operational KPI reports and insights.
* Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Systems, Warehouse, and Finance.

Skills & experience
Essential:
* 5+ years' experience in e‑commerce, digital operations, logistics, or similar.
* Proven experience leading and developing teams.
* Strong understanding of fulfilment workflows, online product management, and order lifecycle.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities.
* Experience working with ERP/OMS/CMS/e‑commerce platforms.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Data‑driven mindset with experience using KPIs and dashboards.
Desirable:
* Experience creating and embedding SOPs.
* Experience with event stock, POS activations, or similar retail/event workflows.
* Exposure to Lean/continuous improvement methodologies.
