Accounts Administrator / Finance

Queensland Complete Contracting Services (QCCS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Administrator – Finance to join our Head Office team in Mackay.

About the Role
You will provide essential administrative and financial support to the Finance Department, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation and record management across accounts payable, accounts receivable and general finance functions.
Working closely with the CFO and wider management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
* Reconcile project claims in collaboration with Project Managers
* Raise debtor invoices in Viewpoint
* Process payments and investigate discrepancies
* Respond to customer and internal queries in a timely manner
Accounts Payable
* Receive and match supplier invoices to purchase orders
* Process invoices accurately in Viewpoint
* Set up new suppliers and maintain creditor records
* Perform monthly reconciliations
* Ensure GST and tax invoice compliance
* Liaise with the CFO on payable matters
* Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
Banking & Credit Cards
* Perform daily bank reconciliations
* Reconcile company credit cards and investigate anomalies
* Enter card transactions in Viewpoint
Records Management
* Maintain organised financial records and filing systems
* Archive invoices and related documents
* Track unpaid invoices and credits
Safety, Quality & Company Values
* Work in accordance with QCCS safety, environmental and quality systems

About You

Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable
* Knowledge of GST and Australian tax invoice requirements
* Experience using Viewpoint (highly regarded but not essential)
* Background working in construction, civil or mining sectors (advantageous)
