Workforce Extensions Geelong is recruiting on behalf of Associated Cold Tread Tyres, a long‐established and respected Geelong business, for an experienced Administration Officer/Bookkeeper to join their administration team. This is an adaptable opportunity suited to someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a supportive and busy office environment.
About the Role
Reporting to management, you will be responsible for a broad range of bookkeeping and administrative duties across multiple companies within the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
* Managing the general ledger and generating reports
* Processing end‐of‐month journals
* Preparing monthly BAS statements
* Processing payroll when required
* Reconciling bank statements
* Processing intercompany transactions
* Responding to customer account enquiries
* General administrative support duties as required
About You
* Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping/administration role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience using accounting software
* Knowledge of Attaché accounting and payroll software would be highly regarded, though not essential
