About the role
Cooper Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join one of our workshops in Hobart, Tasmania. This is a full time position where you will play a key role in delivering high quality repairs, supporting the Service Centre Manager, and helping the workshop achieve performance and customer service targets.

What you'll be doing
* Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and accurate diagnostics
* Performing routine servicing including oil changes, brakes, and tyre rotations
* Repairing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and electrical systems
* Testing vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and quality standards are met
* Completing job cards and maintaining accurate service records
* Communicating effectively with customers and internal team members
* Following all WHS policies and workshop procedures
* Supporting day to day workshop operations to achieve business outcomes
What we're looking for
* Trade qualified with solid post apprenticeship experience (3+ years preferred)
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures
