Johnson Bros. Mitre 10 is a proudly local, family-owned franchise of Mitre 10, dedicated to serving both retail and trade customers. With a strong reputation for quality products and exceptional service, we have been a trusted name in the community for years. Currently, we employ over 170 people across our locations, and we are looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our paint section at our Mona Vale store in a part-time capacity.
In this role, you will work closely with the Dulux Group, assisting retail customers and professional trade painters with their paint and colour needs. We are looking for someone eager to learn with a keen interest in paint and or interior decorating, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
-Providing outstanding customer service to both retail and trade clients, ensuring a positive and helpful experience.
-Tinting and mixing paint to achieve the perfect colour match for customers.
-Offering expert colour advice and guidance on paint selection.
-Managing stock, including ordering and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
-Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a paint department or hardware store is advantageous but not essential – we provide full training
-A keen willingness to learn and continuously improve your skills.
- Strong teamwork skills – we value collaboration and a supportive work environment.
-Reliability, honesty, and punctuality – we appreciate hardworking individuals who take pride in their work.
-Physical capability to assist with store operations, including lifting paint tins up to 20kgs.
