Senior Business Development Manager | Power Quality & Data Centres
A rare opportunity to join a global leader in energy infrastructure and electrification in a strategically critical role focused on the rapidly growing data centre sector.
The Role
This is not a transactional sales role.
This position sits within a specialist Grid & Power Quality Solutions business and is focused on helping major customers solve complex energy infrastructure challenges across hyperscale data centres, critical infrastructure, renewable integration and large industrial environments.
The role will lead early stage customer engagement, market penetration and strategic solution development across integrated power infrastructure offerings including:
* Power Quality Solutions
* Grid Connection Infrastructure
* Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
* Medium Voltage Solutions
* Integrated Energy Solutions
You'll work closely with customers, consultants, utilities, EPCs and internal engineering teams to shape projects before formal tender, helping position the business as a long term strategic infrastructure partner.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives within the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors
* Build relationships with hyperscalers, developers, consultants, utilities and key industry stakeholders
* Identify and influence opportunities during early project development phases
* Drive integrated solution sales across complex energy infrastructure environments
* Develop strategic partnerships and commercial frameworks
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape technically credible customer solutions
* Expand market presence across emerging energy and electrification opportunities
About You
You are likely to come from a background within:
* Power infrastructure
* Electrical systems
* Critical infrastructure
* Grid connection
* Energy solutions
* Electrification
You'll ideally bring:
* 8+ years in strategic business development, solution sales or technical commercial roles
* Strong understanding of power systems and electrical infrastructure
* Experience engaging enterprise or infrastructure customers
* Data centre or mission critical infrastructure exposure highly regarded
* Ability to navigate complex, long cycle solution sales environments
* Strong commercial acumen combined with technical credibility
