Nursing Teacher – Diploma of Nursing
Location: Echuca
Role Type: Part-time 0.4 FTE, Ongoing
Remuneration: From $115,000 salary (pro‐rate) plus 12% superannuation (qualification dependent)
About the Role
You will deliver high‐quality vocational education and competency‐based assessment for the Diploma of Nursing. Teaching is primarily on‐site at the Echuca Campus, supported by dedicated administrative and technical support. Students will participate in simulation‐based learning, including sessions conducted in partnership with Echuca Hospital. Class times are 9:00 am–3:30 pm with standard working hours of 8:30 am–4:30 pm. You will attend professional development days and staff meetings in Bendigo approximately 1–2 times per term and will be supported in fortnightly in‐person visits with the Program Lead Nursing.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Nursing
* Current AHPRA registration
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/16/22)
* Digital teaching capability
Experience and Knowledge
* Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, etc.
* Understanding of cultural sensitivity and ability to respect and value differences
* Ability to identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
* Ability to adapt communication style to suit audience and context
* Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
* Understanding of the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning
* Provision (and maintenance) of a current driver's licence where relevant
