Community Worker - In Home Aged Care
Location:Hunter region – Lake Macquarie (Morisset/Toronto)/ Maitland/ Newcastle.
Employment type:Permanent, Part time, and casual roles available.
Pay rate:$***** - $35 per hour + 25% casual loading.

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to help Aged Care clients live at home independently for as long as possible.
Your day will involve travelling within local suburbs and surrounding areas, with availability on weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm (preferably 3 minimum days).
Day to day duties
General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing.
Transport to appointments and shopping.
Meal preparation.
Social support or respite for family/carers.
Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
Requirements
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
Good communication skills.
A reliable team player.
Understanding of workplace health and safety.
An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential).
Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
