Mechanical Facilities Engineer Position Overview
This role requires a Mechanical Facilities Engineer with expertise in mechanical systems to support mission requirements. The selected candidate will act as the liaison between U.S. government representatives and contractors, overseeing project execution and ensuring customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with U.S. government representatives at multiple levels.
* Oversee project execution, including technical and quality targets.
* Develop and report metrics to support continuous improvement.
* Plan, monitor, coordinate, and execute complex engineering tasks.
* Supervise Factory Acceptance Tests and Integrated Factory Acceptance Tests.
* Create and monitor adherence to facilities operations standards.
Requirements:
* Ability to obtain/retain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
* Minimum 9 years of experience in facility operations, specifically with mechanical systems within the Intelligence Community or DoD.
* Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures.
* Understanding of Critical Infrastructure and ability to assess reliability.
* Ability to estimate and produce rough order of magnitude cost estimates for facility project planning.
