Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the design and development of integrated high-rise facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in managing multidisciplinary projects from conceptual feasibility studies to construction completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the project team and manage all phases of the engineering, procurement, and construction process.
* Design and develop integrated high-rise facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* Estimate material quantities, schedules, and costs for construction projects.
* Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
* Perform project control tasks, including project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline.
* 1+ years of professional experience with the design or build of MEP building systems.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* 3-4 years of professional experience in civil/mechanical engineering.
* Primary experience with electrical and power distribution systems (< 600Vac).
* Knowledge of HVAC operation and design principles, including refrigeration, chillers, boilers, and air-handling equipment.
* Experience with plumbing design and operation, including domestic water, wastewater, venting, and storm systems.
Additional Requirements
* Ability to work in a high-concentration, high-stress environment, under possible extended work hours and tight deadlines.
* Acute attention to detail, ability to see interactions with other systems to avoid problems.
ITAR Requirements
* Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
