Job Description
SGS is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team in our office near Perth Airport.
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
1. Coordination of transactional procurement activity
2. Development of procurement dashboard for analysis and reporting against KPI’s
3. Classification of procurement spend to maintain data integrity and comply with Global standards
4. Drive procurement Sustainability initiatives in accordance with Global & local targets
5. Ensure procurement business processes comply with audit and legislative requirements and continuous improvement of controls and risks
6. Communication and training for business stakeholders in procurement processes.
7. Coordination of Supplier onboarding and compliance to SGS requirements
Qualifications
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Oracle navigation and data management.
9. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Strong business process and data analysis skills to drive process efficiency and continuous improvement.
11. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
12. Proven track record of stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation.
13. Strong understanding and experience in procurement principles and practices.
14. Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
