About the Role
This role is focused on developing new business opportunities within the warehousing and logistics sector while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You will play a key role in expanding our customer base and helping drive long-term business growth.
Reporting directly to management, you will work closely with operations teams to deliver tailored warehousing and distribution solutions to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate new business opportunities within warehousing and logistics
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
* Identify customer needs and provide tailored supply chain solutions
* Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits
* Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements
* Work collaboratively with operations to ensure smooth customer onboarding
* Achieve sales and growth targets
* Monitor market activity and identify new opportunities
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management within transport, warehousing, or logistics
* Strong understanding of warehousing and supply chain operations
* Proven ability to generate and secure new business
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Strong organizational and time management abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Current driver's license
