The Opportunity
Due to continued year on year growth, we are seeking a senior, commercially minded finance leader to lead the finance function and partner closely with the Managing Director on the long-term strategy of our high-growth asset management and investment business.
This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic influence and executive-level accountability.
You will:
* Apply your property and investment finance expertise to deliver strategic insights, elevate portfolio performance, and lead continuous improvement across all reporting and processes.
* Provide technical accounting advice and commercial acumen, adding value to fund performance, property lease transactions and long-term investment decisions.
* Lead and empower a skilled finance team transitioning the department from traditional reporting to strategic decision making, while you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
* Lead enterprise level FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
* Partner with the Managing Director and Leadership Team with accountability for financial outcomes within the strategic plan.
* Provide financial insight into investment strategy, asset performance and exit decisions.
Debt and Equity Strategy & Fund Management
* Oversee fund finance activities, including investor reporting and distributions.
* Lead annual bank reviews, and optimise debt and equity structures across the portfolio.
* Manage senior relationships with lenders, investors, and financial advisors.
Investment and Asset Support
* Provide technical accounting and commercial advice across acquisitions, leasing, and asset management.
* Support investment thesis development and capital structuring for new and existing funds.
* Prepare and review financial inputs for Investor Information Memorandums.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Collaborate with Leadership, Asset Management, Investors and JV partners on financial and commercial matters.
* Ensure strong financial governance, reporting integrity and contractual compliance.
* Present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
* Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.
* Drive the transition from transactional reporting to strategic decision support.
* Oversee recruitment, performance management, and team development initiatives.
About You
* CA or CPA qualified with at least 10 years' experience in property/investment accounting.
* Minimum 10 years in senior finance roles.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.

1. Industry Experience
Demonstrated experience in a similar finance role within the property or investment sector, with a strong understanding of real estate financial structures, asset management, and investment analysis.
2. Technical Proficiency
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling for accurate forecasting and reporting.
3. Accuracy & Attention to Detail
Proven ability to maintain high standards of accuracy in financial reporting and compliance, with a strong focus on process integrity and data validation.
4. Communication & Presentation Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data and insights clearly to stakeholders and senior management.
5. Process Improvement
Provide a specific example of a financial process, system, or reporting framework you successfully improved or implemented, demonstrating innovation and efficiency gains.
